The Harmony, a limited annual series by The Macallan, presents its second release called Intense Arabica. This collection takes inspiration from the natural world. To create this unique whisky, The Macallan’s Whisky Maker Steven Bremner collaborated with renowned coffee masters in a masterclass. After careful consideration, they selected the Ethiopian Arabica bean. As Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, it is only fitting that this bean is used to craft The Macallan’s first coffee-inspired whisky. The exquisite liquid is presented in an environmentally friendly recycled box, created using coffee bean husks that would have otherwise been discarded. With an alcohol by volume (abv) of 44%, this dram was matured in sherry seasoned casks to perfectly complement the indulgent flavor of coffee.
